What to Do When You Feel Overlooked and Stuck in Life

What to Do When You Feel Overlooked and Stuck in Life

There are seasons in life where it feels like you’ve been left behind.

You thought you’d be further along by now. You thought things would look different. But instead, you find yourself in a place that feels quiet, unnoticed, and uncertain.

It can leave you wondering, why do I feel overlooked and stuck in life?

If you’ve ever felt that way, you’re not alone.

When Life Feels Quiet and Nothing is Changing

Moses found himself in a season like that.

From a palace … to the wilderness.

From influence… to isolation.

From calling… to hiding.

For 40 years, nothing big happened.

But what felt like a setback… was actually preparation.

Moses wasn’t forgotten. He was being formed.

God Sees You Even When You Feel Overlooked

There’s a moment in Exodus where everything begins to shift.

The people cry out – and God responds.

God heard.

God remembered.

God acknowledged.

That means something:

God sees you.

God hears you.

God has not forgotten you.

But here’s the key:

Moses turned aside.

Some people miss their moment because they’re too distracted to notice God moving.

You Comeback Is Not About Who You Are

When God calls Moses, he immediately starts making excuses.

“I’m not ready.”

“I’m not qualified.”

“Send someone else.”

Sound familiar?

God doesn’t respond by fixing Moses.

He responds by reminding him:

“I AM”

Because your comeback is not based on:

  • Your strength
  • Your past
  • Your ability

It’s based on who is with you.

Jesus Is the Greater Comeback

Moses brought people out of slavery…

But Jesus brings us into freedom.

And because of Him:

You are not stuck

You are not forgotten

You are not finished

If you’ve been feeling overlooked and stuck in life…

God knows exactly where to find you.

Your comeback doesn’t start when everything changes.

It starts when you respond.

Just like Moses:

“Here I am”
